Just what you need for a business wiki
What do you like best? This site is great to organize, compile, and prepare documentation for all industries during the backend. You can have different pages on varying topics and in depth as necessary! You can put in as much as you like and tie it into tasks for work to do as well as connecting it to other applications like Jira for issues, trello for other tasks, and more! What do you dislike? The summer 2017 version makes it look like a much older version and isn't as easy to reach ...

A really complicated library of knowledge
What do you like best? We do like that Confluence can hold every bit of text-based information that we have. What do you dislike? We dislike how complicated it is to use, how annoying it is to move articles around, and how we have to keep our tables that include calculations somewhere else. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We use Confluence to storage every text-based material we have. It really helps us share information ...

Great for documentation
What do you like best? Confluence has a sleek look. It has a simple UI with a white background. Making a page is very easy. When you add a link to any text and set it to point to a internal page, a blank page will automatically be created. Moreover, the search functionality is great. I found the search alogrithm to be very efficient. What do you dislike? The UI sometimes looks too cluttered with too much text everywhere. I prefer a cleaner look without much clutter. The UI might not ...

Good but needs better organization
What do you like best? I like how you can label the documents different things like "how to" and other items What do you dislike? It's hard to navigate. If you accidentally make a page, you can't delete it. Instead of making sections and being able to change them, it all has to be re-arranged and moved about. Recommendations to others considering the product Make sure you have a road map set out before starting to use it What business problems are you solving with the product? ...

Newer Confluence User
What do you like best? Easy to navigate once you're in the right spot, and can host all our team info in one place. Much easier to navigate than SharePoint. What do you dislike? Getting to the right spot can be difficult, finding team pages that aren't bookmarked, etc. Recommendations to others considering the product Take the time to learn it. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to dedicate time to research and fly by the seat of my pants. What business problems are you solving ...

Good for information dumping
What do you like best? Like the ability to drag documents onto project pages so all information is contained in one location. Also the flexibility of building custom templates. What do you dislike? Wish the search functionality was more robust. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? This allows all project details (schedules, estimates, scripts, boards to be found in one location.

Confluence for technical writing - and everything else!
What do you like best? Ease of use, minimal learning curve, flexibility, add-ons/macros, ability to kep on growing. What do you dislike? Costs, the leaps between user tiers can be large and if you use a lot of paid-for macros the expense of doing so can soon mount up. Recommendations to others considering the product Clear pricing, very easy to use no matter the user type or needs. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? External ...

Useful documentation tool
What do you like best? I like the ability to edit pages whether I'm the creator of the page or not. It's easy to keep pages up-to-date so that anyone else may see only relevant information. What do you dislike? I dislike the 'like' feature as it is hardly used at my organization. There's no functional need to be able to 'like' a page and it makes it try to sound like a social media application. If you 'like' the content on the page, it is much easier to bookmark it. What business ...
