Flexible for any type of team
What do you like best? I like that you can customize it to fit your needs with minimal technical ability - easy to search and share information with other teams What do you dislike? It is very easy for information to go stale; you must be diligent about keeping information up to date otherwise it is hard to maintain as the source of truth What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Sharing information across teams is the main goal - ...

Confluence for company-wide information sharing
What do you like best? I like that it is able to handle complex information for every department in the company. It is easy to update and create pages. What do you dislike? I dislike the email notifications that occur automatically, but it's easy to deactivate those. Outdated info does occur frequently as there are no parameters as to when and who needs to update it. Recommendations to others considering the product Be wary of the fact that information quickly gets outdated, ...

Confluence is great
What do you like best? I like that it has become our shared repository for documentation on all of our applications. What do you dislike? There is not much that I dislike. It is a great application for what we use it for. I am certain we could use it for much more if I was more familiar with how everything is working. Recommendations to others considering the product get to use the widgets and macros. there's a lot you can do to make your forms friendly to use. What business ...

When people don't know who to turn to for something specific, we search for it in the Wiki and can usually find the information we're looking for.

More organized then Docs
What do you like best? It was easy to grant access to certain employee levels. Could keep docs department specific so that users couldn't see things that were not pertinent to their job. Also having documents all in one centralized system made it easy to manage. What do you dislike? If the person who was organizing it didn't know what they were doing, Recommendations to others considering the product It's really good for having a central lied hub for all internal documents. What ...

Works well but not intuitive or visually appealing
What do you like best? Provides a centralized platform for document sharing and has robust functionality. What do you dislike? Not intuitive to navigate and visually unappealing and outdated looking. Doesn't work the same across all browsers. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Centralized location for all documents.

Top rate product
PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? Confluence offers many features that I like. You can set up alerts, watch pages, and mark favorite pages. Another useful feature is you can link to other pages and we use this feature a lot in our company. What aspects are problematic or could work better? I don’t like the “digest” that the app sends to my email. I want to receive email alerts about page changes only once a week. But the digest comes often and it doesn’t clarify ...
