Easy to use, some things too difficult
What do you like best? I like how everything can be organized into certain groups and easily identifiable based on how we want to organize. It's pretty easy to maintain, but some things are a little tricky to find. The editing function is really easy to use, but it is also basic functionality so I would say it's not for those who are looking to do a lot in their editing functions. However those new to confluence will be able to pick up that editing easily. What do you dislike? I wish ...

Works Okay With Process & Dedication
What do you like best? * fully fledged product within Atlassian, which is great if you utilize the Atlassian product suite already. * great plugin additions to add in easy graphics and diagrams where words do not suffice. What do you dislike? * structure - it's hard to know how to use across all teams/areas and it would be best if there was an onboarding process for an account to setup how they want documentation to look for select PROJECTS, as an example, and that would make it ...

A Documentation Site for the Developer In Mind
What do you like best? First off, it is great to use a tool that is version controlling documentation; trying to keep a version in a folder on a server always has been difficult to upkeep especially when a number of different users access the same files at the same time. Confluence gives one the ability to keep track of that without What do you dislike? Starting out the configuration of the site took more time than I had realized. With the ability to customize so many things, it took ...

Great Collaboration and Requirements Gathering Tool
What do you like best? The default template is usable. It works for simpler requirements. Adding or modifying templates is also very easy. What do you dislike? Lack of workflow design capability. We would like the ability to create workflows and user stories from within Confluence. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Solved: Documenting business requirements clearly. Benefit: Quick turnaround to show to the business.

Been using it for years, no issues
What do you like best? It's extremely easy to get a quick page up on your personal space. The built-in editing tools are top notch and give you plenty of options for formatting, including nice code formatting options. The ability to watch pages is very feature-rich. Embedding Balsamiq Mockups into pages is a great feature that works seamlessly. Shared editing works fantastically. Page history tools work very well. What do you dislike? Multi-tiered organization of pages (like in a tree ...

A corporate wiki for Information Management
PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? Confluence is a wiki designed for companies to store, manage and share their information. It's "information management" rather than "document management". I used to work at Atlassian, the maker of Confluence. While working there I appreciated the fact that ALL of the company's information was stored in Confluence. Now that I'm working somewhere else, I have come to fully appreciate the benefits of Confluence -- due to its absence! ...

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Confluence is a great place to keep company documents. I like being able to edit ongoing documents, such ...
