Excellent wiki/documentation product
PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? I think Confluence is an excellent app to document procedures and processes. Most people hate documentation, but Confluence is so easy to use it makes the process an enjoyable one. I document a lot and the system enables me to use my keyboard for formatting through macros and keystrokes without needing to use a mouse. What aspects are problematic or could work better? I have no complaints about the application. The only minor ...

Easy and Useful
What do you like best? The intuitive design and way of introducing the product and usage for multiple teams within an organization. I like that we are able to include all of our best practices, how-to guides and much more in one place. The platform is direct and intuitive. I did not have any trouble getting started. What do you dislike? I do not have any complaints or dislikes at this time. I will update my feedback later if anything comes up. Recommendations to others considering ...

Great way to build an information hub
What do you like best? We use Confluence like a wiki space. Confluence is great for building an entire searchable hub for information. The macros are really helpful, and they're easy to set up with the information that Confluence provides. What do you dislike? I like the collaboration that Google Docs supports, where users can edit documents or add information to spreadsheets in real-time. I just saw that they launched a collaborative editing feature, so I'm planning on looking into ...

Good for collaboration and search
What do you like best? I like the tagging structure and being able to give my sales team access to every piece of content we make in a way that makes searching for exactly what they need in the moment simple. What do you dislike? The interface isn't super pretty. And I feel like I get too many notifications automatically. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We're using Confluence to solve resource management, company updates on ...

Ugly, simple and 0 efficient
What do you like best? Nothing to be honest. It's difficult to find something good about Confluence at least, using it in the way I use it in my company. It tries to be like a wiki for each project and a collaboration tool but it's interface is not very friendly. At least is a good place to centralice data and information of a project although it gets out of date quite soon because it's difficult to manage. What do you dislike? The interface is old and ugly. It's not easy to find ...

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? If you ...

Confluence not for the beginner
What do you like best? I like that all reference documents, company happenings, important announcements can all go in once spot. Each department has their own area to manage along with a corporate area. What do you dislike? For me, the program is hard to use. Unless you have some HTML or website background, it is hard to post items unless they are word or PDF based. It could be the way ours is set up but I really dislike having to put information up on the system. Recommendations to ...

We use it because we use Jira
What do you like best? One of the nicest features is being able to tie directly into information stored in Jira, so you can embed charts, plots, graphs and information tied to your tasks. What do you dislike? The new design, why did you change things and manage to make things less intuitive. Recommendations to others considering the product If you are using Jira it is worth it, if not probably better tools out there. What business problems are you solving with the product? What ...
