Easy to communicate key information internally
What do you like best? Confluence makes it easy to share information in a democratic way. Any team can edit information relevant to their capabilities, which makes sharing easy. What do you dislike? It's not immediately intuitive, especially to navigate between different company pages. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Easy to use information portal
PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? I like the simple user interface that makes it easy to access all the information you need. You can easily share pages with your team members and they can receive updates as soon as you modify the data. The Spaces feature ensures specific areas don’t get cluttered and overflow with info. The page creation functions resemble MS Office apps which makes it easy to work within a page. Plus, you can attach DOC, XLS, PDF files, etc. to a ...

Easy to use
What do you like best? One of the best things about Confluence is that it is easy to navigate. This means that employees who are new to the solution find it easy to catch on and are able to get up to speed quickly. Additionally, Confluence is works well for documentation collaboration and the notifications allow you to keep updated on version changes as they occur. What do you dislike? Perfect way to get a project in front of the team and not have it swept under the rug.
What do you like best? Creating a ticket in JIRA and then having the whole team see it is great. It's really fantastic to create a ticket for something, no matter how trivial it seems, and having it documented and visible for the company to consider. What do you dislike? Adding images to tickets already created seems to be a bit more hassle than when a ticket is created. Recommendations to others considering the product There are a lot of moving parts to JIRA, so take your time and ...

Good for keeping records and collaborating with notifications
What do you like best? Confluence has an interface that makes leaving comments and receiving notifications very reliable. For instance, you can both comment on a page / document that's made, or highlight specific text to leave in-text comments. Notifications are also reliable for people to receive in their emails, about any changes or new pages created. What do you dislike? Confluence's design is flat in a way that makes it difficult to understand how subsections of pages link ...

Great tool for any IT environment
What do you like best? Confluence is relatively easy to use, although the latest UX updates might’ve been a step backwards. As an IT organization that needs a seamless way to communicate and document requests, where each department using the product has a different level of technical expertise, we have found Confluence is a great tool. For user’s who have very little technical knowledge, the functionality allows the product to be used like a traditional office productivity product such as ...
