Canto Is a strong solution for anyone looking for a DAM

What do you like best? Canto has been easy to use and easy to get up and running. The simplicity of having all of our images in one place have been astronomical. The amount of time spent wasted looking for marketing images has been eliminated completely. That was our main purpose for selecting a DAM platform. What do you dislike? The only bad thing I can say was our onboarding tech wasn't really the greatest. She just wasn't very with it on the training. She would retell us things ...

Amazing Asset Management System

My organization just switched to Canto and we couldn't be more happy about the decision. My department uses Canto to house and organize our digital photo assets for marketing and other purposes such as sharing our assets with the rest of the organization - previously photo assets were kept departmentalized. A key component to our switch was the facial recogintion tech Canto has - just upload and tag one photo of an individual and it tags the person in every photo they are in. This has been ...

Great place to put your assets

What do you like best? My organization is able to keep our assets in a safe, easy to manage, place. We store all types of files for internal and external use. Permissions for each user is easy to manage. The public portal is nice to have to provide assets to an external audience. What do you dislike? I think the Adobe Connect feature could be improved. It is nice to have. But I end up having to download the image if I need to convert to CMYK or make edits to. Recommendations to ...

Great Solution for Digital Asset Management

What do you like best? We decided to use Canto because of many features including the design, customizability, customer service, large thumbnails, organizational structure, tagging feature, and portal for outside consumers. I like that I can drag and drop folders and albums to reorganize when needed. The tagging and filtering features are top notch. You can relate files to one another and share links with people outside of your team for viewing and downloading. What do you dislike? ...

Ahhh... Organized Digital Assets

Having organized digital assets is a game changer. Gone are the days of hunting down the one person that has enough background knowledge about the specific image needed.

Yes We Can(to)

We use Canto to keep track of all of our projects across departments and topics. It is mostly used within the Marketing departments, and it helps us keep organized, especially if edits are made! It's great that we can update the files within a folder and the link will remain the same for those who have it.

Bumpy start but smoothing out

What do you like best? The Ai is really great for quickly locating objects and people. What do you dislike? AD integration costs extra, interface can be a bit clunky, syncing a large library of photos and videos can be problematic (avoid doing so from a mapped network drive) Recommendations to others considering the product: Really review your assets, where they are located, how large of a library you have and how you are going to get them into Canto. What problems are you ...

Excellent platform // Minor Adjustments

What do you like best? Utilizing it as a way to show off approved assets, materials, inspiration that our designers can look back to and search is great! The tagging feature makes it easy to source and find exactly what you're looking for. What do you dislike? The fact that there's no bulk-upload option available makes uploading lots of data a drag. Especially if they all fall within the same category. We hate having to wait for multiple things to load and settling for individual ...
