Great product for asset organization

What do you like best? The folder separation for different assets and the ability to control who has access to which. I also like that the assets are shown in high quality and there is a very quick download time. What do you dislike? There could be an easier way to add keywords and ways to find old assets. There could also be a larger number of individuals allowed to see hidden folders. Recommendations to others considering the product: If you are working with a large number of ...

Yes We Can(to)

What do you like best? We use Canto to keep track of all of our projects across departments and topics. It is mostly used within the Marketing departments, and it helps us keep organized, especially if edits are made! It's great that we can update the files within a folder and the link will remain the same for those who have it. What do you dislike? The interface is pretty basic and I wish it was a little more modern with clear buttons. Essentially, more user friendly. But once you ...

Their sharing is also great for internal and external file sharing What do you dislike? We had a file versioning issue before that is no longer present with using Canto. We were limited with ...

Stay Organized In Style - Great for Multiple Users

Everyone on my team and within my department are very happy with the solution and they all claim that Canto has made their lives easier and jobs more efficient. The benefits include saving time and making it easier to work together and share photography within our department and with external partners. It has solved the problem of campus-wide digital asset needs. I am able to create a smaller portal where other members of the community can login and choose photos from a selection of my ...

Chosen for UX, Easy search, Visual Library

What do you like best? I like the overall UX—better than most, with similar sophistication and complexity of competitor products. The visual library is easy to navigate. Search function is really easy to use. Love the photo recognition and automatic tagging features. Photo recognition is really helping us document all the names of people we serve for easy searching. What do you dislike? Display doesn't feel like it was coded for retina Mac screens—some things are slightly pixelated ...

Great and easy system for our team

What do you like best? Canto is a very visual DAM system. It is extremely customizable--not only in tagging, but in branding as well--which makes it truly feel like your own. Canto has provided our team with a easy solution for storing and searching for our assets. Portals are simple ways to share certain assets with our distributors, retailers, and licensers. We have also had a great experience with customer support; they are quick to help solve any issues and make sure that we are happy ...

Simple DAM that quickly solves asset management issues

What do you like best? Simple to use and works in both a browser and a desktop app. It has previews for Adobe native files which helps a lot when looking for specific assets. What do you dislike? The UI isn't great — it's not easy to view + pull down assets quickly without "going into" them. The UX could definitely benefit from some tweaking, but no major issues blocking functionality. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Our ...
