What do you like best? Visibility to the processes and time savings What do you dislike? Having have to convince users that they have to start using new tool What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Using Blackline reconciliation module saved us time and effort. We also have better visibility to what is being done when and how well at anytime we want.

What do you like best? BlackLine matching is intuitive. The way it works just makes sense. The ability to integrate our matching data sources, recons, and JEs has been a real time saver. What do you dislike? Sometimes updates surprise me. I wish there was more clear notification of changes to come... maybe login notifications. TIme outs are frustrating, especially when I've done a lot of manal matching and I lose my work

What do you like best? I love that the Compliance module connects with the other modules, which makes internal audit much easier. What do you dislike? -Workflow tracking and status in compliance. Once something is de-certified, there is no way to see that it was once certified. What do you like best? Matching cuts down manual daily workload by 60% or more. What do you dislike? The system frequently times out. This causes manual work to be repeated. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Keeping daily reconciliations. Blackline helps to identify daily exceptions making exception management and customer service easier to manage.

They also have great customer service and working quickly to address concerns. What do you dislike? What do you like best? The BlackLine platform is very configurable and allows us to tailor the functionality to meet our needs. What do you dislike? The reporting functionalities still leave a bit to be desired. Pulling reporting data from the system often requires export and manual manipulation. What problems are you solving with the product? What do you like best? The ability to monitor and the close process and identify the outstanding reconciliations for the month end close. Historically, new functionality was constantly added to the tool. Most importantly the BlackLine team/employees. They seem to genuinely care and want to help. What do you dislike? What do you like best? The breakout session and the one on one with CSL experts. What do you dislike? The limited nature of partial matching. It will be quite beneficial if this process is automated.
