Does what I need

Bigcommerce is a good way to get a store online. Has good integration with other apps, but some are just too expensive for smaller businesses.

Good basic web hosting and site…

Good basic web hosting and site creation. Some "basic" features are missing, but available with paid add-on services. Back end is a bit clunky and quirky but usable. Customer support is very good.

It's good but could be better

The Good: The cost, The service, The support staff. The Bad: The free templates are boring, The templates that cost money are not much better and some are even worse. Navigation when building/editing your page can really get confusing. Navigation when administrating your page can also get confusing. They do nothing to promote your site as you're basically invisible on Google search.

Worth it.

Takes some time to learn it all, but worth it. The chat support is especially good. I have no regrets at all, and since moving to Big Commerce from our old site, our sales have doubled. No joke. Doubled.

Really overpriced for what you get

Really overpriced for what you get. Things that are basic and included with other platforms cost more on BC. We've had server issues with them too. Very disappointing.

An all round excellent e-commerce platform

An all round excellent e-commerce platform. We've used Opencart, Magento, Magento 2 and Shopify but settled on BigCommerce for their ease of use, great features and excellent support team. One of the best business decisions we have ever made.

Big Commerce has been a game changer…

Big Commerce has been a game changer for my small business. It was very easy to set up my online store and maintaining it has been easy and efficient. My business has expanded tremendously having a professional looking website and an easy order system in place. When ever I needed support and could not find answers on line, calling the support line was easy, free of hassles and my questions or problems were quickly answered or resolved.

Overall pretty good BUT no Volumetric…

Overall pretty good BUT no Volumetric Weight values to enable shippers of bulky but lightweight items to find best rates for clients. Despite Bigcommerce claiming that shipperhq offer this ability they actually do not (despite originally claiming they would and blame Bigcommerce for not providing them with the necessary value tables. I know this because I also subscribe to shipperhq and have been having this on/off conversation between the two companies over the last few years!
