Easy to use platform with a wide range…

Easy to use platform with a wide range of resources for learning to use it. Excellent built in tools compared to the competition and painless customer service. Only let down by it's current compatibility with Adwords conversion tracking and analytics.

Not living up to the hype.

The options to customize your site for success are great! The part where they look after their customers not so much.When you lose a weekend worth of sales and the customer service rep says "yeah we've been getting a lot of complaints about that plugin failing" all that I as a customer wonder is "Then why didn't you put out an alert so that I would have found out before loosing sales and customers?"

Bigcommerce's customer support is great, but don't expect any features that aren't there day one.

Bigcommerce's customer support is second to none. My only criticism has been their reliance on their expensive 3rd-party partner solutions instead of bringing features to the platform. Specifically, before I signed up, I asked about having categories only use media mail. I was told it was coming. Four years later and it still isn't possible. Instead, I have been told to pay one of their partners another $80 a month for this simple feature. Beyond that, it seems like any new features that ...

Took us a while to get set up…

Took us a while to get set up initially, but once set up and store open, then it is pretty easy to navigate and to update products and theme. The support line staff are always friendly polite and helpful. We would use Big Commerce again for our other future webpage development.
