Bad Service

I'm rating this low because I have a support case open since January and I have not received any status on it. We have an issue with credit card transaction going to 2Checkout that has forced us to stop receiving credit card payments and nobody has done anything about it. It is really frustrating dealing with BigCommerce Support.

I have been with BigCommerce since 2011, offered to change over to different companies many of times, but I have absolutely no reason to. It has been smooth sailing. Don't fix what ain't broken.

I had my web store with BigCommerce for many years. Never had a bad experience. The customer service is excellent.

The only issue I have is there…

The only issue I have is there Invoice/shipping templates, try folding one and putting it into a shipping label, Take a look at maybe Quickbooks who seem to know how to create a template that does not need custom folding to fit properly in to a Packing List enclosure. I have asked about this over the years but so far the person who must read it is blind because it's never been addressed.

Average overall and it seems that's what they strive for.

BigCommerce is a company that kind of seems happy to do an average job most of the time. They neither want to excel and be great, nor suck too bad. Support and improvements are at a glacier pace, but the price is reasonable. For example, something like "partially shipped" orders is not a main bleeping selection. It's AS IMPORTANT as orders "awaiting shipment" or "awaiting fulfillment", but try getting someone at BC to listen. I'm disappointed to see BC allowing (& promoting the ...

For a canned template type store

For a canned template type store, big commerce isn't bad. But don't expect any flexibility. They're pretty rigid and custom editing can get pricey real quick. But for better or worse we're pretty much hooked to them for the time being

The customer service is awesome! The platform is not particularly user friendly. would love to see more drag and drop type functions, a gallery where you can store and pull images, but all and all a good option
