What do you like best? Using BigCommerce is generally very easy. The user interface has a clean design with nice spacing between different sections. The overall capabilities are suitable for simple and advanced stores. They have many tools that allow us to design, add products and market our store more efficiently. Not user friendly and confusing as to when money arrives in our account. Also wouldn't integrate reliably with our shipping platform. Many of our order we're incorrect, canceled, not paid for, or not inputted to ship. We stopped using Big Commerce and changed to another commerce platform that's more used friendly and doesn't have these issues.

I think Big Commerce is a wonderful medium to host my business. I have been using it now for over 6 years. I am very happy with the help I receive when I lodge a ticket and there is a lot of information available through the BigComemrce University Help links.However, it is mainly suited to the retail environment for clothes I think.I sell books and I would like more flexibility with the type of coupons and discounts I can offer, especially when some of my clients are schools, libraries as ...

The program works like it should and integrates with your web site. But, the reports are a mess and not usable without doing a lot of work to extract the data you need. The system won't allow you to pull data from specific date ranges, or create an ad hoc report.

For the most part user friendly

For the most part user friendly. Wish there were more options for reports to review historical sales for comparision. Maybe what products have sold the most.

BigCommerce - a few problems

It's a good online marketplace. There are some issues such as how to consolidate shipping on multiple purchases. (Example, 1 pair of earrings, shipping $10. 2 pair of earrings - another $10 when in fact 2 pair of earrings can ship together for $10 - $12 with insurance. Also, many of my category pages are scrambled with overlapping images. Big Commerce won't work with me because I subscribed to them through Homestead. Any time I have called for assistance from Big Commerce I have been 100% helped by a friendly courteous member. If the person I first spoke with did not know the solution they got me to someone that did. We are a small business and Big Commerce delivers as if we were a Fortune 500 company!
