What do you like best? I can say it's easier to use it than any of its competitors used for eCommerce. They are of course not the best, but to a very high scale, they are fair. Payment can be accepted from a variety of choices. They have several integrations and many features to users. I love BigCommerce...

I've been on BigCommerce since 2010 and it's terrific. Support is great, and they're always improving the platform and coming out with new features. The app directory is robust but almost everything you need is already part of the main package.I've used both Shopify and BigCommerce and BigCommerce is the best by far. Highly recommend.

Steer clear of this company. Use Shopify!

Steer clear of this company. We purchased an expensive template which didn't do what it said, without the need for paying additional money for someone to add and change code to the template.The company refused a refund of our monthly fee even after paying for 6 months and not using it due to this issue with their template.All well and good until something goes wrong, or billing is involved. Deeply disappointed.

BigCommerce is great, but not for everyone

What do you like best? While Bigcommerce is not the best platform out there, in my opinion, it get the job done for most. There are too many levels to the platform. Out of the box they offer a lot of functionality to list and sell products but managing that data is whole different animal. What do you dislike? They did a maintenance update on Friday at 5pm. The update didn't work and my services have been down for 4 days, with no time estimate. So idiotic, i can't believe it.

Went back to BigCommerce after awful Shopify experience..

I started using BigCommerce for my company website a few years ago and am pretty pleased with them. My only issue is I wish it was a tad more customizable.
