Basecamp 2 > Basecamp 3

What do you like best? In general, the interface is very intuitive, and the aesthetic is pleasing. It's a helpful way to track conversations, project billing numbers and locate files. Also great that you can reply via email or on the platform itself. What do you dislike? Basecamp 2 was much easier to use than Basecamp 3. In the new version, I can never find files, and our creative and content teams never know where to upload assets. The asset storage process in Basecamp 2 was much more ...

Good for project management and knowledge database

What do you like best? The 'Progress' function and how it handles creating and managing projects for a community. What do you dislike? Poor options for reacting to comments and actions, not so 'fancy' user interface. Recommendations to others considering the product It is good to start with something if you want to make effort on project management tracking, but I recommend you to pay attention on planning what functions you need and if this tool supports it. What business problems ...

Pretty solid team management platform

What do you like best? User interface was simple and I kept finding more and more features as I went along. Great for sharing documents and getting feedback. We had to push announcements out to a board somewhat frequently and it was great for that too, as they could comment and respond easily. Over e-mail, things like that would be lost. What do you dislike? No dislikes. It really does work well- the only thing is that is slightly more expensive than we were hoping. Recommendations to ...

Great for project management!

What do you like best? I like the template feature. It saves a ton of time and makes it easy to streamline your processes. The ability to add team members, photos, documents and other materials also makes it easy to use. What do you dislike? The amount of projects can become cumbersome. It would be nicer if there was a way to group certain projects together for specific departments, etc. The amount of emails was also very overwhelming. You'd get a lot of them daily. What business ...
