BaseCamp has been great when incorporate a contractor into a work.

What do you like best? Basecamp has been a reliable resource for me in working in software. A variety of projects and ideas are able to be tracked with different contributors and notifications set so that you can remain part of the conversation regardless of where the contributor is located. Todo's can be assigned to each contributor with due-dates and notifications. What do you dislike? Love to have all my tasks in one place!

What do you like best? We use Basecamp as one of the main task lists. We also have a Basecamp for company announcements, so everyone in the team gets notified and are able to comment on the news items. It's a very useful online collaboration tool. What do you dislike? Easy and simple (perhaps too simple)

What do you like best? I love how simple Basecamp is. It was my first venture into using software in project management, and the bare-bones feel lets it help rather than distract with unnecessary information. Basecamp doesn't reflect instant, real-time edits. So it's nice to actually work remotely with people in other places and not be confused by watching your work just disappear. Great for communication and task management

What do you like best? I like Basecamp's ability to be used as a message board as well as the ability to share various files with project members. I also like the ability to create a to-do list with dates and to be able to assigned individuals to each task.
