Great tool for increasing job efficiency
What do you like best? I can easily enter all job details knowing that all parties contributing to the project are kept up to date on timelines, client-requested changes, internal approvals, etc. What do you dislike? There are already a lot of emails to keep up with on a day-to-day basis, and this is just one more item to keep track of - BUT that said, this platform allows us to keep internal progress separate from the client emails What business problems are you solving with the ...

A Few Experiences, Lasting Impression
What do you like best? I am a to-do list fanatic. And although Evernote is my go-to for solo projects, Basecamp is where it is at for group collaboration and teamwork. I like the various options for tackling issues and projects together as a team. I like that you're able to see project updates-the time/date that people made changes and who the person was that made the changes. That way, you'll know who in your team is interacting with this interface the most. What do you dislike? One ...

Satisfactory Product Management Software
What do you like best? I like the transparency of Basecamp. Every day you get a daily report of the project(s your team's working on that's thoroughly detailed so you don't miss out on anything. What do you dislike? Basecamp's user interface is a little rudimentary in comparison to the other project management software I've used before. Recommendations to others considering the product Use the trial to see if you like it first. If you have issues with inter-departmental ...

User Friendly and Easy
What do you like best? I like that it's not very detailed. It gives a high level overview of every project and allows me to break down each project's tasks with a basic to do list. What do you dislike? Having to recreate programs. It would be great if I could copy an entire basecamp and use it over and over. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? B2B with our vendors has been awesome. We can collaborate, share the tasks and any ...

Basecamp is the best tool our small staff has found
What do you like best? My favorite part of basecamp is the tool to build to-do lists and be able to assign out steps to various staff and have them indicate when they are completed. Keeps the whole team on the same page and allows the manager to keep tabs without micromanaging. What do you dislike? I would like the forumns to be a little more transparent in terms of additional comments added, for example a notice that there are "x" amount of new comments on a particular feed with a ...

Basecamp review
What do you like best? I like that your entire team, remote or on site, can see exactly what each member is working on, and collaborate on projects step by step. What do you dislike? Not being able to click on "To Do" from top menu-you can only select certain things. If I want to go straight to a to-do I go through my email notification link. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? The previous problem was that no one knew which ...

Helpful tool for managing staff and projects
What do you like best? I liked the ability to collaborate on things with others in a note document, etc. I also liked the format of the site. After being able to compare it to similar platforms, this one is simple, not overdone. What do you dislike? I'm not really sure I disliked anything in particular.... it served its purpose well and we didn't have issues with it. Recommendations to others considering the product If the pricing is right for you, I would recommend it. What ...

Great product, used for a number of things
What do you like best? The way it organizes files -- I find it helpful to build additional folders accessible for all my team members. What do you dislike? Sometimes it can be difficult to navigate to the exact location I need. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It is so helpful with project organization and cohesive communication.

Used for Marketing Planning
What do you like best? Easy communication for everyone to see in live time. What do you dislike? I would like to schedule out multiple classes in various spaces on the calendar, but it's only intended for meetings or single space events. It would be nice to have a stronger calendar and space scheduling tool. We will continue to use ResSched Corporate. Recommendations to others considering the product Install the app on your phone! It's super easy and convenient. What business ...

Helpful platform for collaboration
What do you like best? Basecamp has been very helpful for my staff, especially in terms of communication. In our office, student employees work in individual shifts, though many of our projects and initiatives are collaborative, so it is important for each person to know what the other staff has been working on and what needs to be done next. What do you dislike? The function we probably use the least out of the Basecamp suite is the Campfire feature, which is like a live chat. Since ...
