Basecamp User - Project Management
What do you like best? I like the aspects of keeping projects updated and categorized and allowing different people to have permissions to access the information based on the projects. You can also choose who to send updates to. It's very simple and easy to navigate. It is easy to keep track of tasks and the system pushes out updates and reminders via email. What do you dislike? I think it was built really well to include needed features for projects and management, especially for the ...

Easy to Use and Great for Organization
What do you like best? Basecamp keeps everyone in the loop and ensures projects are always moving forward. It's a one stop location for communication, deadlines, and questions. No longer can someone say they did not receive something because it's housed right there in Basecamp, keeping everyone on track. There are to-do lists, milestones, a calendar, and the ability to share documents and deliverables. What do you dislike? Once you put your project timeline in on the calendar, which ...

This what the digital industry needs to ensure things are organized and on-track.
PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? Before Basecamp, life was simply intolerable. I seriously had no idea how to properly organize my business. But this time around, we're able to build our business via Basecamp. It did very well in saving me a lot of hours, decreasing business-related stress, and pushing me to run my company efficiently. What aspects are problematic or could work better? There have been some features seen in Basecamp 2 that were sluggish in ...

Basecamp Simplifies Team Communication
What do you like best? The best thing about basecamp is that it gives structure to long term and short term tasks between my entire team. We can see over a period of time what needs to be done an anticipate future tasks. What do you dislike? Features between Basecamp 2 and Basecamp 3 are not consistent. I would like to upgrade to Basecamp 3 but we cannot create a distinction between client and team functionality which is important. What business problems are you solving with the ...

Necessary Product for Team Collaboration
What do you like best? I love that basecamp keeps everything together in a way that email communications never could. it keeps resources accessible and helps the team organize and make sense of all the moving parts. What do you dislike? As a copywriter, the limited text editing capabilities is extremely frustrating. Trying to use bullet points is extremely wonky and it's annoying that I cannot indent more than once. It is also frustrating that only one person can be assigned to a ...

Great platform to organize and share documents & images
What do you like best? I like the drag and drop feature, how easy it is to share files/documents/images, and how the users can collaborate on the website itself. The folder structure makes it easy to find and follow where documents are located. What do you dislike? I would prefer the website to be more visually attractive. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? None.

The amount of emails you get from Basecamp per day due to people uploading files or making edits. Recommendations to others considering the product Less emails throughout the day. Maybe one mail recap email during the work day and then one main recap at night. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? This is a great team-serving tool -- it allows you to store team projects, push projects forward.
What do you like best? The ability to brainstorm and attach files and keep it all in one neat place. What do you dislike? I don't have any dislikes -- it can be forwarded to my regular email for action alerts. Recommendations to others considering the product I'd reserve it for cross functional team work -- its a great heads up that a decision is in the works that needs your review. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Team ...
