More visual ways to track projects. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits ...

Favorite Internal Communication Platform
What do you like best? Everything: from ease of use to the archive system to the organization of threads within messages What do you dislike? I preferred basecamp 2 to 3. The new update where you have to choose where within the project you want to go when you click the name rather than being taken directly to the home page is not great. Also, the removal of the private projects has been tricky with clients Recommendations to others considering the product Love it. Would highly ...

PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? Our conversations are stored in one location. Though we still use emails, wikis, agendas, and Google Docs, Basecamp still has the best features, namely notification of follow ups and reminders. We are all Indonesians so we don't use English often yet Basecamp enables us to work efficiently with minimal use for English because its instructions and guides are all easy to understand. Functional and easy to use.
What do you like best? We use Basecamp for ongoing client projects and onboard for new clients. I think it’s very user friendly and good for task based projects. Project templates are way to use. What do you dislike? I don’t find the collaboration tools very effective. And it’s too laborious to add whole teams to all projects for visibility. We use each project as a client portal so it would be nice to be able to create to do list templates in addition to projects. We also need more ...

Necessary Product for Team Collaboration
What do you like best? I love that basecamp keeps everything together in a way that email communications never could. it keeps resources accessible and helps the team organize and make sense of all the moving parts. What do you dislike? As a copywriter, the limited text editing capabilities is extremely frustrating. Trying to use bullet points is extremely wonky and it's annoying that I cannot indent more than once. It is also frustrating that only one person can be assigned to a ...
