Basecamp pros and cons
Simple, user-friendly interface that is intuitive even for beginners, making it easy for teams to adopt and use efficiently.
Centralizes all project information, including documents, tasks, and communications, enabling seamless collaboration and organization.
Strong team collaboration tools, including real-time communication, task assignments, and notifications to keep everyone aligned.
Highly effective for remote and hybrid teams, allowing easy management of tasks and communication across distances.

Great collaborative tool for projects.
What do you like best? Everything is recorded in a central place for your project. Comment feeds, assets, timelines, and more are all in a central location so you can easily resume a project without searching through a mountain of emails. What do you dislike? Sometimes there can be too many people on a project and you'll get notified for things that are irrelevant to you. That can clutter up your email inbox. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have ...

Easy to use
What do you like best? Easy to use, makes collaborating on projects easier. What do you dislike? I think that the home page can begin to look a little hectic after a lot of back and forth. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? While a project is being passed around to various team members, this is an easily way to update people on progress, upload documents for review, etc.

Messy but omnipotent
What do you like best? We're a organization that switches it's board members every year. Basecamps helps us to keep continuity by storing not only our files and decisions but the discussions that lead up to those decisions. It makes it really easy to look up why a decision was made. What do you dislike? Being that kind of organisation, basecamp is quite a mess, with all folders and files everywhere. The search function is not the greatest and it lacks auto organization options. What ...

It's a Particular Flavor of Project Management
What do you like best? Basecamp has a nice top down organizational structure and has added some nice features over the last several years. I was an early user of Basecamp, went on to use several other project management systems and inherited BC at the current job, again. It does well for beginner and intermediate users in organizations. What do you dislike? It's hard to say bad things about Basecamp, other than it's a particular flavor of PMS, and if you're into it then it suits one ...

Easy to manage platform.
What do you like best? What gives production and progress to Basecamp is the simple way of working that gives the client, giving a platform that is easy to handle and easy to manage. What do you dislike? The prices of Basecamp give it a lot of negativity, because they are very high and are not consistent with the benefits provided by each work plan. Recommendations to others considering the product Do not waste time reading the instructions of Basecamp, when you register and use ...

Effect project management system for small team
What do you like best? Basecamp appears to be moving in the right direction from a collab and project management perspective by allowing users to effectively migrate out of email. Their ability to export calendar content via iCAL or API has been of great use and ability to export editorial events into a distributable calendar. What do you dislike? The lack of ability to copy certain elements from a template perspective is a bit of a hindrance from time to time. Recommendations to ...

Decent Software
What do you like best? Basecamp allows users to see updates to documents and provides email updates. What do you dislike? Not as useful or intuitive for program-based projects as it is for design-based projects. Recommendations to others considering the product This is helpful for multiple departments collaborating, but make sure that all departments have more or less equal buy-in, or the collaboration can become one-sided, with one team inputting all the updates and messages, and ...

Get your projects organized and hold everyone accountable in one space
What do you like best? This application is a great web-based project management tool because it is super user-friendly and organizes all the information all in one place. You can list the Project's to-do list, milestones and share files. you can have conversations and hold people responsible. It's also free which is another plus. No tech issues either. What do you dislike? I really couldn't find anything that I disliked. However, you may have people on your team that might not want to ...
