Great for Collaborating and Communication

What do you like best? Basecamp is a great tool to track communication, collaborate with multiple people on projects and share files! What do you dislike? The trail of communication can sometimes become a bit convoluted as there are many ways to converse through this tool. Recommendations to others considering the product The best way to use basecamp is to think of how it can benefit your team based on how you manage project sand plan to track them. Great for archiving emails and tracking hours

What do you like best? The ability to copy a basecamp email address and the email is archived under the relevant project in basecamp. This has proven very helpful when multiple team members need to be aware of what transpired on a project in the past, but may not have been a part of the conversation originally. What do you dislike? I wish the hours tracking had the ability to be more granular, i.e. hourly rate per person if it varies. What business problems are you solving with the ...

Workflow & Organization Tool

What do you like best? Basecamp lets me organize my process and workflow better than other management tools I've come across. I haven't found anything yet that I need to do, and can't do here. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Great real-time task-management. Love that it emails out ...

Our Best Client Communication Tool

What do you like best? The ability to keep on going communication and documentation in an organized and accessible format. What do you dislike? I dislike the campfire conversation component. It is clunky and not easy to get to. We use Slack in place of this feature. Recommendations to others considering the product I recommend Basecamp 2 over Basecamp 3 especially as a client communication hub. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...

Basecamp keeps our events from imploding

What do you like best? Robust, detailed shared task lists, project definitions, and discussions. Everyone can see the whole project and have accountability to do their own part that we're depending on. It includes calendars, files, and all the stuff we need to really dive into getting an event together. What do you dislike? Basecamp is a little too featureful for personal task management use. So I have to operate 2 systems - one for the team and one for my personal projects and items ...
