Very open-ended, which has its benefits and faults

What do you like best? As an ideation tool, it's great because it gives everyone a common place to share ideas and work together to brainstorm possible solutions. What do you dislike? Because it's so open-ended, I found myself sometimes a little disappointed at the limitations of the tool (or more specifically the lack of structure. While it was a beautifully-designed tool and I was impressed by the layouts and setup, I also found myself wishing that it was a little more powerful. ...

Keeps me organized in the kaos!

What do you like best? BaseCamp is a must if you have a lot of little tasks to get done each day (that can slip your mind, and have to manage more than one person or even multiple teams of people. I have EVERYTHING in my schedule laid out for me, and I LOVE that I can take a high-level view of my week to see which days are going to be the busiest. And team members assigning me tasks without having to email me is amazing, keeps the inbox much cleaner. I just see what my day looks like ...

Good project management tool

What do you like best? My favorite thing about Basecamp is the ability to create multiple projects with different permissions. I can also add vendors and agencies to be a part of projects. What do you dislike? Sometimes the conversations can become a little jumbled and it's hard to tell the flow and which is the most recent comment without looking at the time frame. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I needed one place for my ...

Mediocre interface

What do you like best? It seems like it is a good application if you're dealing with smaller projects. There is a dashboard that you can use to get an overview of different sections or projects around. What do you dislike? For larger projects, it might not be the best. I personally find it a little bit disorienting. Recommendations to others considering the product Somehow making the interface a little more organized. What business problems are you solving with the product? What ...

Great Low Level PM Tool

What do you like best? Its an simple interface that's easy to learn. What do you dislike? It's not incredibly dynamic, so don't look for it to accomplish all your needs. We use it coupled with a variety of other tools. Recommendations to others considering the product It's a good tool. It's just not incredibly dynamic so you may have to use another tool as well. We find it useful in our scheme but we still have to use other resources. What business problems are you solving with ...
