Basecamp pros and cons

  • Simple, user-friendly interface that is intuitive even for beginners, making it easy for teams to adopt and use efficiently.

  • Centralizes all project information, including documents, tasks, and communications, enabling seamless collaboration and organization.

  • Strong team collaboration tools, including real-time communication, task assignments, and notifications to keep everyone aligned.

Base camp review

What do you like best? I like the discussion posts that you can do. And where you can do “brag boards” What do you dislike? Difficult to use at first. It took a while to get the hang of it What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Communication through discussions

Employee and customer communication

What do you like best? We use Basecamp to communicate and coordinate a ton of different projects that many people have touched, including remote employees and customers. This ensures that everyone will be on the same page for each project and allows us to allocate work more efficiently. What do you dislike? I do not like that there is no specific time frame. I can not understand my tasks and see what has been turned upside down for me, so I can say which task is older than others, and ...

Characteristics with basic designs at Basecamp.

What do you like best? Basecamp has very good characteristics to carry out projects. What do you dislike? The prices of Basecamp are very high, I would like you to have a limit of $ 500 in all your plans. Recommendations to others considering the product I would recommend it to replace basic work methods, for one that provides better stability like Basecamp. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Very good campaigns, with more ...

Basecamp is great!

What do you like best? Basecamp allows for effective team communication and allows everyone to see that status of any project at any given time. What do you dislike? Sometimes I find that basecamp will not work as well with certain browsers. For example, I prefer to use Chrome and sometimes it won't load for me, but will if I use another browser. The only thing keeping me from giving it a 10 What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I ...

Nice suite

What do you like best? Nice good combination of collaborative and document management features. Alerts get passes and things are visual, yet it is also easy to track long term due outs and store key pm documents What do you dislike? This is a pretty solid all around project software. It may be too unwieldy for short term projects. Recommendations to others considering the product This is a great all around project tool. It’s especially valuable for those who have multiple ...

Great toolset, but really isn't where it should be for a paid management tool.

What do you like best? Checking off the boxes. Having a daily upcoming projects list, and a To-do that is generated is great, and assigning duties is easy. Attaching files to projects is a breeze, and it's a great repository for credentials, client information and requests and more. What do you dislike? Integrations could be greatly expanded. We use Google Drive for work, although we can't link up the two and save space, so there is many times multiple locations, and versions across ...
