SS & DOB in order to verify landlord account

11/13/2023: I called the avail.co customer service phone number and got a live person. I explained that I didn't want to verify the listing using SS & DOB because of risk for identity theft, but also because they're not collecting rent for us and sending tax forms at the end of the year. Outstanding service

Outstanding service! Called customer service as a result of an error I had made during set up. The representative taught me how to fix it and educated me on how to navigate the platform and its features. Easy to get ahold of a representative, and very attentive support.

Hard to say one thing I like best - online management is quick and intuitive, background checks are inexpensive, total cost is very reasonable and scalable unit by unit [we now have just one but have had as many as six], direct deposit saves many conflicts with late payers, .... You can easily set up auto pay for your tenants and create and renew leases. I've already recommended it to a few friends of mine and they also enjoy it. Great job!

I’m a landlord with 28 units and I migrated to the Avail platform. It has been a nightmare. I keep getting locked out of my account. I got an email from the trust and verification team that I needed to prove my identity. I did the verification three times, and my account is still locked. This has been going on for 3 weeks. I call customer service and stay on hold for 30 minutes and can’t reach anyone. I’ve sent emails with no response. I’ve opened trouble tickets in their online intake ...

I am a landlord using Avail. I have had a great experience using them for a year. Their staff has been extremely helpful with resolving any questions. Potential tenants do not need to do a credit/background check to request and have showings. That is only later if they decide they actually want to rent it. There are scammers everywhere and everyone needs to do their due diligence. Avail itself is not a scam, only a management platform. Blaming Avail for criminal intent is like blaming the ...

Scam company out for your fees

My wife and I were allowed to apply for a property that was actually unavailable and they charged us 2 application fees and refused to refund us. What a scam.
