Asana pros and cons

  • Simple interface supports easy adoption for personal and professional use.

  • Task and project management includes timelines, recurring tasks, subtasks, and milestones for structured workflows.

  • Team collaboration features include comments, file attachments, and real-time updates.

  • Customizable workflows, task prioritization, and board/list views accommodate varying user needs.

"I Cannot Imagine Life Without Asana"

What do you like best about Asana? Asana gives me a sense of calm and focus by letting me see my weekly to-dos in one place, allowing me to stay synced up on large-scale projects, and has become our team's single source of truth for much of what we do. The ability to rely on Asana to keep track of everything we need to accomplish helps me feel focused and organized. What do you dislike about Asana? My only dislike is the fact that some of the best features are behind a paywall and there ...

"Asana is the engine behind our team's daily operational success!"

What do you like best about Asana? There are a few things that make Asana the tool of choice for us. The first is how easy it is to share tasks across projects, which we use a lot in our line of work. Beyond that, Asana is always adding new features/tweaking the efficiency of features to make them work even better, and everything released seems to have a purposeful use for our team. Finally, it's easy to navigate and keep things organized within Asana. What do you dislike about Asana? In ...

"Asana makes me a better professional"

What do you like best about Asana? I love how I can track my work and the work of my colleagues just by checking the collaborators on my tasks and also adding comments to inform them about my workflow and the status of the task. The workflow of each task is always registered and I can always rely on the history of my tasks and board. What do you dislike about Asana? I would love if I could create model tasks with subtasks linked with one another. That would help so much with operational ...

"Love, love, love asana and our productiveness has increased!"

What do you like best about Asana? Asana makes collaborative tasks easier, more trackable and encourages more communication. We love how it organizes our ideas into actionable items in an easy to use, easy to see way. What do you dislike about Asana? I would love task dependencies to be part of the free program- this seems like a needed addition to teams who are using it frequently, but can't quite convince leadership to pay all the money for all the other features. Recommendations to ...

"Asana Two Year Review"

What do you like best about Asana? The ease of creating, organizing, and assigning tasks. The search feature is really strong and allows us to find past tasks to learn from how an item was handled before. What do you dislike about Asana? Sometimes the subtasks can feel a little too "weedy". But at the same time, I'd never want to go without them. Perhaps they could be viewed differently in My Tasks to know when the task item is a sub or parent task. Lastly, ever since my org introduced ...

"Hands down the best project management tool available for any business size"

What do you like best about Asana? Asana gives visibility to every team companywide and allows cross-functional teams to communicate more efficiently. Every task object can have several useful relationships, from related OKRs and KPIs to blocking users that are keeping you from completing a certain task. Different views allow you to configure each project in the most adequate way and allows contributors to work in the way they feel more comfortable. Asana also integrates directly with Zoom ...

"I love Asana!"

What do you like best about Asana? I like that you can have your projects in multiple views - I love the list view, although a co-worker likes the board view. What do you dislike about Asana? It would be nice to be able to have a date range to set milestones instead of just one date. What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you? Currently, I can collaborate with multiple departments together on projects. The benefits are being able to get projects done on time.
