Asana pros and cons
Simple interface supports easy adoption for personal and professional use.
Task and project management includes timelines, recurring tasks, subtasks, and milestones for structured workflows.
Team collaboration features include comments, file attachments, and real-time updates.
Customizable workflows, task prioritization, and board/list views accommodate varying user needs.
Steep learning curve for new users due to the richness of features and complex implementation for larger organizations.
Advanced features (e.g., custom fields, timeline views, and detailed reporting) are locked behind premium pricing, making it expensive for smaller organizations.

Get organized with your tasks and projects
What do you like best? The UI/UX really great. It’s easy to create seperate tasks as well as projects. I can create tasks for myself and projects with collaborating my team. The mobile experience and web experience is bit different. The web app experience is better level of experience. What do you dislike? I have subscribed the premium account features for Asana. But for first I searched the premium add on features in my mobile app environment, it’s not available in mobile. The on ...

Love this tool!
What do you like best? Asana is so easy to use. You can easily sort, prioritize and check off tasks. I love that it has different ways to input the information. Like lists and checking off your to-dos? More of a sticky notes person? Or do you prefer to see everything at a glance on your calendar? Asana has you covered! What do you dislike? Nothing, really. Asana, project manager
What do you like best? Flexible, fast, and modern design. Capable free version. Feature-rich. New Timeline view makes it easier to manage dependencies. Asana is a bare bones task management and team collaboration service—and that’s a good thing. It is not convoluted or cluttered with unnecessary features or options. Asana makes it easy to create, assign, and collaborate with team members What do you dislike? by having many functions this same demand to have a good training of this ...

Most user friendly project management software we could find
What do you like best? Simple and to the point. Not a lot of onboarding necessary to get people up and running. Asana also has great video tutorials. What do you dislike? Wish there was a desktop app so it could be used offline. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We are a remote company so this makes collaboration much better

A great tool for teamwork
What do you like best? I'm a lead on a team project and Asana is a great tool to write group to do lists and divide up work. What do you dislike? I wish the calendar tool was more interactive and that you could create gant charts on it. Recommendations to others considering the product It takes tight curation for a team lead to keep on top of the to do lists and the goals. Its helpful to use Asana to think through goals and the pieces needed to achieve the goal. What business ...

Great product, needs aesthetic update
What do you like best? This product is your basic real-time, collaborative to-do list. It was one of the progenitors of such agile software systems and it's a solid product. I've been using Jira for four years now. What do you dislike? It needs a facelift. I like Monday.com, much more fun to use, more colorful and also more intuitive. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It's just a to-do list. It helps keep project pipelines ...

Intuitive and easy as long as on desktop
What do you like best? Asana offers you an easy to use project management tool that nearly everybody can get behind and grasp after a couple of minutes use. Other than most "free" tools it does not only offer a very broad managing of tasks but also allows you to go into details with subtasks, links and attachments. As well as deadlines and assignements are possible. What do you dislike? It works great as long as you are on a desktop. If you are in sales and have to use it on your ...

Pretty good product, but honestly I find myself reverting to pen and paper for tasks
What do you like best? I think being able to assign people tasks is helpful. We also get very detailed with the tags we put on for different projects. For example we use it to categorize by which action items get brought up at which meetings. We also use it to be able to communicate about check up calls so everyone is on the same page. I also like the feature of being able to comment on other people's projects. What do you dislike? If you don't have your whole team on the software it ...
