Asana pros and cons
Simple interface supports easy adoption for personal and professional use.
Task and project management includes timelines, recurring tasks, subtasks, and milestones for structured workflows.
Team collaboration features include comments, file attachments, and real-time updates.
Customizable workflows, task prioritization, and board/list views accommodate varying user needs.
Steep learning curve for new users due to the richness of features and complex implementation for larger organizations.
Advanced features (e.g., custom fields, timeline views, and detailed reporting) are locked behind premium pricing, making it expensive for smaller organizations.

OK, but not great.
What do you like best? That different tasks could be assigned to different people and could view longitudinal display of tasks completed, past-due, and up-coming. What do you dislike? Couldn't adjust timeline (GANNT view of project to get good look at overall project. Also, didn't see how to view multiple timelines (i.e., for different projects at the same time to get a good overview of all projects organization (or manager had under their purview. Recommendations to others ...

Easy to use
What do you like best? Asana is good for organizing and managing tasks, whether they are personal or work related. What do you dislike? I wish some of the premium features were accessible on the basic version. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It is great for assigning tasks, listing and organizing tasks, and visualizing the tasks you have to complete.

Nice tool but not my go to.
What do you like best? Nice dashboard and interface. I like the different tools that are available and easy to collaborate. What do you dislike? I often use MS project for my project management or MS teams, it's not my go to tool that I use often. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? More collaboration with my colleagues

Task management made easy
What do you like best? I love how Asana makes it easy to customize your to-do list, so you can really make the platform work for you. There are so many great features, no aspect of project management was left untouched. I love the sections feature for organizing what tasks I will do when. I also love the inbox feature, as it allows me to check up on new updtes to my tasks. What do you dislike? Asana is quite overwhelming at first and takes a little while to get the hang of. There are ...

Asana vs Jira
What do you like best? I like the fact that everybody on the team has access to real-time information and can follow the projects, but I think the user interface and the platform speed could be better. Especially coming from Jira, where I believe these two topics were better. What do you dislike? I don't think they have the best interface and their speed is not the best. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Project management ...

Trello with more bells and whistles
What do you like best? Similar interface to Trello, so pretty easy to wrap your head around all the functions. What do you dislike? Sometimes it seems like too much. What I love about Trello is how simple it is; some of the features in Asana are a little too much for me. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Project/Sprint planning

Asana let's me communicate tasks with my VA
What do you like best? I love how i can create repeated tasks -- tasks that remain the same each month. I don't have to go in and recreate the task -- I just schedule it as recurring for any duration of days that I want. What do you dislike? Every time I sign in, I forget that I'm in MY dashboard, and not my VA's. Several times now I've created a task and put it on my own dashboard by mistake, and then not realized it until it's past the deadline and I'm wondering where the work is. ...

Amazing Project Management
What do you like best? I love the ability to prioritize my tasks and organize my day. This software allows me to keep myself organized and keeps everyone that I serve happy! What do you dislike? I dislike the lack of reporting options for the free accounts. I understand that there needs to be a reason to purchase, but working at a nonprofit means we don't have much in a budget for this kind of thing. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...
