Asana pros and cons
Simple interface supports easy adoption for personal and professional use.
Task and project management includes timelines, recurring tasks, subtasks, and milestones for structured workflows.
Team collaboration features include comments, file attachments, and real-time updates.
Customizable workflows, task prioritization, and board/list views accommodate varying user needs.
Steep learning curve for new users due to the richness of features and complex implementation for larger organizations.
Advanced features (e.g., custom fields, timeline views, and detailed reporting) are locked behind premium pricing, making it expensive for smaller organizations.

One of the best tools to keep your tasks organized
What do you like best? The best thing about Asana is that it is pretty easy to start using without much setup. It can cover simple tasks as well as more complicated cases. What do you dislike? There is some ambiguity in creating new tasks and filling in the details. Everything gets published right away without having a clear trigger for posting the newly created task. Recommendations to others considering the product Asana will be a great fit for you if you need to keep a simple ...

Execution of projects with Asana
What do you like best? Asana is a very useful tool when designing or executing a project, because it allows you to break it down so that it can be viewed and taken step by step, the project is created, and as sub tasks the stages are assigned, in addition to these stages are assigned sub sub tasks that are the steps to follow in each of these stages, in each project are assigned followers who would be the ones who are responsible for and supervise the execution of each stage or phase, and ...

Great for Project Management and Basecamp
What do you like best? Storing all reports, discussions, assets, etc. in one place is a great way to not only keep everything organized and searchable, but also a great way to backup data. Use as a project management platform that sends notification alerts in a more user friendly manner is done so better than competitors. What do you dislike? The UI was a big dislike, but it has come a long way since redesign. Also had issues with always having to sign in rather than it saving ...

Seems good but can't really get into using it
What do you like best? I like seeing tasks assigned to me across multiple workstreams and projects What do you dislike? Having to sign into and remember to reference yet another tracking tool What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We're managing a large project with multiple workstreams, teammates, and deliverables. The main benefit is having a single place for everyone to know what's going on at any given time

Easy collaboration in person and remotely
What do you like best? I love how tasks can be assigned to a specific individual with a due date, and that there are differentiated, dedicated spaces for details and notes in addition to to-do list action items. What do you dislike? Limited privacy for users without premium. Also, that tasks disappear when they are completed - sometimes it's nice to keep a backlog. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We frequently have research ...

Adjustment period needed, well worth it
What do you like best? I love the organizational views and how user-friendly Asana is. It's easy to learn and really gets the job done. What do you dislike? It takes time and persistence to really get team members on board. It is an adjustment to a digital to-do list and it's understandable but you really need a lot of buy-in. Recommendations to others considering the product If you are new to a project management platform I highly recommend it. But be aware that it will take time ...

Participation in projects with asana
What do you like best? In my personal opinion the tool Asana helped me to carry my projects in the most efficient way, this is the way in which the projects are structured in this application, you are shown every project step or stage as a sub task, which in turn has sub sub tasks, in this way to go doing each of the tasks almost without realizing you will see that you concluded that project that you thought would take too much time and would involve a lot of work, plus my bosses to be ...

One of the best tools to see the performance of your work team.
What do you like best? What I like about Asana is that you can establish projects for each of your users and selecting check when you have completed the activity and as a percentage of your progress. What do you dislike? do not like the update interface since I was used to the previous one, I do not like it when it is associated with the instagant tool, it shows a lot of slowness in the interface. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...
