Asana pros and cons
Simple interface supports easy adoption for personal and professional use.
Task and project management includes timelines, recurring tasks, subtasks, and milestones for structured workflows.
Team collaboration features include comments, file attachments, and real-time updates.
Customizable workflows, task prioritization, and board/list views accommodate varying user needs.
Steep learning curve for new users due to the richness of features and complex implementation for larger organizations.
Advanced features (e.g., custom fields, timeline views, and detailed reporting) are locked behind premium pricing, making it expensive for smaller organizations.

Asana is your all-powerful PM tool!
What do you like best? I like how Asana is free for small teams, allows us work in multiple "workspaces", allows me to easily create tasks, allows me to assign tasks easily, allows me to move tasks around easily, allows me to capture notes easily, and easily assess everyone's progress. I'm a road warrior, so I love their mobile app too! What do you dislike? I dislike not being able to move a project from one workspace to another. And I dislike not being able to create "sections" ...

A great tool for project management of any size
What do you like best? I think that asana is a great tool to organize projects, besides being able to divide them into specific tasks and integrate people to form a functional team, you can also publish the work that is being done and in this way the whole team knows how to is progressing in the project. On the other hand, it is an online tool that everyone can access despite not being in the same geographic space, and has real-time updates of what is working on the platform. Another ...

What do you like best? I like it's calendar feature best and checking items off when finished. It is best for use to plan your days accordingly when working. What do you dislike? It is not a very collaborative application. It stiffly is for help scheduling and getting approval from boss. We have to travel across a wide variety of platforms to properly collaborate. You can really finalize things here when you need approval and scheduling and tasking yourself but I'd wish for an ...

Asana - Simple yet Robust
What do you like best? One thing I love about Asana is the ability to create both boards and outline-oriented list views for tasks and projects. What do you dislike? I wish Asana had more features for burn-down charts, budgeting, hours-tracking, Gantt views, and reporting. (To be fair, I only use the free version, so I'm not sure what's available in Premium. Recommendations to others considering the product Stick with it. Once you get past the initial learning curve, it's an amazing ...

Fast & Flexible
What do you like best? The great thing about Asana is that it can be anything you need it to be. Their platform is extremely easy to use and with a limitless amount of customization, you can find a way to make it work for your business. What do you dislike? The downside of being easy to use is that sometimes it's used a little bit too much. Creating a variety of redundant tasks or tasks that are so granular they lose effectiveness can result in lost productivity. Also, it is easy to ...
