Asana pros and cons
Simple interface supports easy adoption for personal and professional use.
Task and project management includes timelines, recurring tasks, subtasks, and milestones for structured workflows.
Team collaboration features include comments, file attachments, and real-time updates.
Customizable workflows, task prioritization, and board/list views accommodate varying user needs.
Steep learning curve for new users due to the richness of features and complex implementation for larger organizations.
Advanced features (e.g., custom fields, timeline views, and detailed reporting) are locked behind premium pricing, making it expensive for smaller organizations.

Asana is pretty good
What do you like best? Asana is a great, straightforward project management tool. I found it really helpful for being able to keep project details all in one place, as well as to be able to easily track my day-to-day tasks. Being able to see a record of comments is very helpful as well. What do you dislike? I can't really say anything on my end that I dislike about Asana. I have had issues with clients having difficulty / confusion locating files that were uploaded to individual tasks. ...

Loving the updates
What do you like best? Asana didn't exactly have everything we needed when we started, but they've been continuously improving. What do you dislike? It's difficult to decide how to set up your organization so that it runs most efficiently across all teams without bringing in an expert. More examples would be helpful. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We are keeping more on top of tasks that used to fall through the cracks.

Best platform for teams to manage tasks & projects
What do you like best? The best thing about Asana is that they have added great features along with the best user interface. Everything you need to have for your team or company to complete the task or project on time! What do you dislike? I only dislike the pricing structure. If it can be fixed or something means not on per user basis then it would help small companies like us. Recommendations to others considering the product: Recommended for every team who want to keep up the ...

A good tool with its limitations
What do you like best? I like that it promotes visibility and communication among teams. It is a great tool for collaboration because you can add team members as followers on tasks and stay updated on due dates. What do you dislike? It really bothers me that one of the most helpful features, commenting on tasks, is also a roadblock - when you comment on a task, if you check it off as completed, the comments disappear from the task even if it is a recurring task. This creates issues ...

Easy to use, but not the greatest to navigate or organize
What do you like best? I like the simple interface of Asana and how easy it is to create a new project. My team all has different ways they like to set things up and this makes it convenient for us to do it however we want. What do you dislike? It's hard to keep track of all projects from a timeline perspective because a calendar view isn't really available. It's also not the easiest to pass a project down the pipeline from step to step and assignee to new assignee. Recommendations to ...

Stay on track with your work.
What do you like best? Asana is a great online platform that I can use on all devices. It is great for project management and tasks. It's great for projects as the calendar can be viewed on the go in the app or in my Outlook calendar. Everyone can enter a task as a personal task or public task. It's a good way to make sure it's not going to be a system of chaos. We can also share everything with clients in an easy way. What do you dislike? The search function is not perfect. You can ...
