Asana pros and cons
Simple interface supports easy adoption for personal and professional use.
Task and project management includes timelines, recurring tasks, subtasks, and milestones for structured workflows.
Team collaboration features include comments, file attachments, and real-time updates.
Customizable workflows, task prioritization, and board/list views accommodate varying user needs.
Steep learning curve for new users due to the richness of features and complex implementation for larger organizations.
Advanced features (e.g., custom fields, timeline views, and detailed reporting) are locked behind premium pricing, making it expensive for smaller organizations.

Asana's great, even the free version
What do you like best? I love being able to forward emails and have them show up on the relevant board. It's also great to be able to see the task list for each of my employees at any time. What do you dislike? I find the project to task to subtask stricture a little annoying at times. For example, it would be great to have a task that showed up on one board, but subtasks that were on completely different boards, and all organized clearly. What problems are you solving with the ...

Asana is ideal to keep your projects in order
What do you like best? I love that it is very easy to switch between views. I often like to be able to organize with Kanban boards and it is easy to switch in and out of that view. The cards can be moved around very easily too. I also have the Asana app on my phone so I always have all my projects at my finger tips. I also use it to keep notes on general items I have to reference. I like that you can add due dates to the subtasks. What do you dislike? This isn't much I don't like. ...

Brought "Organize" to Our Organization
What do you like best? Asana is easy to use, extraordinarily feature-rich, and necessary! It’s fair to say that since we first started (attempted using other tools in the past), we all expressed our apprehensions about it. When we used it more and more, we found it easy to navigate in and out not just for our work process but also our daily routine - tagging complete tasks, add additional duties and update individual assignments. What do you dislike? There are very few and further ...

Not satisfied with the pricing, more features needed to be added in trial version, the basic features are just a burden. Recommendations to others considering the product: Streamlined product, straight forward and yet recommendable! ...

Project Management for Content Marketing
What do you like best? Asana provides an easy to use and functional tool for keeping track of my editorial calendar. I have a content request form that feeds directly into my project, so I can easily see what content I have upcoming. Each subtask is a step towards executing that content, and I can easily assign collaborators to each subtask to get content moving. What do you dislike? Unfortunately, Asana only works to its full potential if everyone is enabled and willing to use it. ...
