Arnold is Autodesk's unbiased path-tracing renderer, used widely in feature animation and visual effects. It is built around predictable brute-force path tracing that scales to very heavy scenes rather than around speed tricks, which is what makes it dependable on long-form productions where consistency across thousands of frames matters more than the fastest single frame. It runs on CPU and GPU and integrates with Maya, 3ds Max, Houdini, Cinema 4D and Katana.
