Alexandria Library Software
I have used Alex for my library since version 3 and I wouldn't use any other one! We chose it at the time because it was Mac compatible and because of the ease of use. It is still one of the most user friendly softwares that I have ever used. Our district tech guy wanted us to make a software change a couple of years ago and we all threatened mutiny if he made us change to a different product. I LOVE MY ALEXANDRIA LIBRARY AUTOMATION SOFTWARE!!!
I can not live without your library system! My young middle school students enjoy the ease of helping students check in and out books, assist in locating books on the OPEC desktop computers, the reports are easy to manage and your personal service team is exceptional!!! Especially, your on-line tech services and sales department when I required new bar codes. Your program is a librarian's best friend... love you!

Easy to use program. Tech support is great because I'm not that computer literate. The program also has many helpful hint to guide through problem.

A very straight forward system that is flexible and user friendly. Support very supportive and helpful. Only thing that is a drawback is that there is a rare system glitch that will throw something different your way. For instance, the fines and forgive fines buttons will not calculate right. It is like the system is backing up or updating and it affects the system. If you just leave what you are doing for a day, it usually works itself out without any problem.

Alexandria Library Automation Software
Alexandria Library software is user-friendly and addresses all our needs as a middle school media center. We just recently moved to a hosted database and this has eased the workload for our technicians. The Alexandria tech support is fantastic. They walk us through any type of question, no matter how big or small.
