Easy to use

Easy to use. Would like more one touch. For example when I click on a patrons name I have to than press select. If I forget to press than I check the book out to the previous patron. Would also like to be able to easily add patron pictures

Alexandria: Oakland-Craig

I've had pretty good experience with this product. I am usually able to search my questions on the internet and find out how to fix my issues. If not then I call the Help Line.

I've been impressed enough with Alexandria at my one school that I'm going to order it for the second school I work at.

I've worked with Alexandria for approximately three years. Overall, I am a very happy customer. Sure, there are things I wish were easier or available that aren't, but anytime Nicole (my Library Assistant) or I have had a question, Alexandria has been FANTASTIC about helping. They answer their calls so we can talk directly to a person, and they take their time to assist us. I feel like they value us as their customers.

Great Library Software

I am in charge of the library at a very small Catholic school. I've been using Alexandria for a few years now. Our other software was just too expensive for our tiny, almost non-existent budget. This is an affordable alternative.

Waiting to use the new system

I'm a librarian who has worked in the past for years with Alexandria. They have always been a very good system to use and we always got great tech support and help from them. This year at a different school, we are replacing our old system with Alexandria. I would rate the system higher, but we haven't yet been able to use it. Usually Great customer support

99% of the time Alexandria support has been wonderful assisting us whenever we have an issue. Currently there is some frustration w/ the rollout of v7. Not a lot of communication as to why the upgrade is on hold and no prior notice that that option is not even currently available. If there are tech issues, then openly share this w/ the customers. Communication and transparency are essential.

Alexandria is mostly very user friendly.

I am frustrated with having to enter all 18,000 books from my library one by one. However, once we get rolling, I think it will be great. I love that the kids can look up books and see where they are on the map. I love the Bulletin feature for the teachers.

Works relatively well, good support

I've used Alexandria at two libraries over the course of four years. It works relatively well and the support has always been helpful when I couldn't figure something out or had a question. I had some technical challenges running Alexandria at my first school and ultimately wasn't able to figure out how to fix them, but that has been the only time I've run into trouble. I'd say 4.5/5 stars (if I could give half stars).

It works!

The Alexandria system works fine for checking books in and out and the Researcher helps students find books. I do have to hunt around when I want to run reports. At present, I am weeding my collection. I have the reply (and they are quick to respond to email questions) about how to discard books from last spring.
