Great Library Software

I am in charge of the library at a very small Catholic school. I've been using Alexandria for a few years now. Our other software was just too expensive for our tiny, almost non-existent budget. This is an affordable alternative.

Excellent Customer Service

When I've had to call with questions the staff at Alexandria is friendly, helpful and prompt. No complaints at all with service. The system is easy to use, I just wish the reports allowed more flexibility in parameters and what stats are printed.

This new version of Alexandria has many great features and really streamline the catalog process.

Waiting to use the new system

I'm a librarian who has worked in the past for years with Alexandria. They have always been a very good system to use and we always got great tech support and help from them. This year at a different school, we are replacing our old system with Alexandria. I would rate the system higher, but we haven't yet been able to use it. Easy to use

Easy to use. Would like more one touch. For example when I click on a patrons name I have to than press select. If I forget to press than I check the book out to the previous patron. Would also like to be able to easily add patron pictures

Good work, but half the time I figure it out myself.

Kind of a mixed bag review- it's a good system. But when I call for help, half the time I figure it out myself before the paid reps do.

As a new school librarian, I had little training from my district. Learning the Alexandria program was very easy. Any time had a question I could find the answer in a search, a video, or I knew I could call to receive professional support. Thank you!!

Great product

I enjoy using Alexandria and it works well for our school system! There are times it is a bit complex, but that is more of an issue for me with learning how to use the program than anything. I've had good support when I've asked for assistance.

Alexandria

I have used Alexandria as a school librarian for over 15 years. I would recommend it as a school library OPAC. The search for books could be a little more intuitive, especially for the younger students who have a hard time spelling.
