Worth the Learning Curve

Although it's taken me a little time, I appreciate all of the functions of Alexandria. I love the capability to create my own reports for what I need. I came from a district that used Destiny software from Follett. It was what I was used to and it was quite simple. However, the format of the display has not been upgraded since it came out. Alexandria has a nicer, more pleasing look for students.

I love using Alexandria! The tech department is the best!

Alexandria is easy to use, affordable for our district and I can not say enough about Tech support. When I started as a MLS I didn't have any experience with Alexandria and the I called the tech department many times a day. They are patient, fast and knowledge.

Alexandria works well, but we would like some added features

We are generally please with Alexandria, although there are always tweaks that could make things better.

Alexandria Library Software

Very user friendly. Many commands can be chosen via drop down menu or command key making it quick to switch between actions (ie. bookdrop, check out, etc.). Reports are sometimes tricky to navigate in order to show the exact information you are needing to pull.

Spelling

The system works fine but in elementary where spelling is a challenge, it can be difficult for the students

Versatile and Mobile

Alexandria took a giant step forward in library automation with not only a web bars platform with remote access but also in its creation of an app for their researcher program that gives patrons and students accessibility to the library's holdings from the comfort of their own portable device. This feature alone has been an amazing asset providing all the students in our school simultaneous access to our school library from anywhere in the school or at home.

Couldn't live without Alexandria!

I use Alexandria everyday and I find it reliable and easy to use. It is a safe and easy to use program to keep track of our 12,000+ books. The reports are easy to access and modify. I would like to see some minor changes but they are very small details. The tech support has always been helpful.

Alexandria Rocks

I have used Alexandria in my school library for many years and I have always been happy with it. I have had maybe one or two issues over many years of use and each time the issues were resolved quickly by Alexandria's tech support.

25th year

I have been using Alexandria for 25 years and it is a good product. It's fast, mostly user friendly and offers a variety of reports. Good customer service and overall a good library circulation program.
