Alexandria researcher is not as user friendly as other programs....I am still working with Online and desktop to print reports....

Alexandria has provided excellent service throughout the 16+ years we have used them since we first automated our K-12 school library.

"Alex" much improved

Alex has improved so much over the years. I LOVE the 5 second cataloging. Reports are flexible and cover just about anything your need to know.

Great Company!

I really like the company. There are only a couple reasons I gave it a 4 star and not 5. We have been in contact since the beginning of the school year about linking our ipads and communication on their end seems to be lacking. The other thing is, if you don't search the exact title or author the book will not come up in the search. I wish it would bring up what things that are close to it. Other than those two things I would recommend Alexandria to other schools.

Functional and clean

The library software is functional and clean. Importing of students could be a little easier but all in all it's a great program. If I were to fix anything I'd clean up the graphics on the admin side and bring a modern look to it.

Problems

When we change years or upgrade systems we have trouble making everything work. It takes several attempts before it is all working. We have to contact our tech guys to contact your tech guys and becomes a long process.

Always improving

Alexandria is an innovative, well-designed, system. Like any system, it is not perfect, but the staff are very open to changes.

Very easy to use

I have used Alexandria for 5 years now and find it easy to use for circulation and it also is easy to use to catalog materials and run reports. I do find the researcher portion for student use a little clunky, especially the title and subject search (or browse portion). I think that it should just have an advanced search and simple search.

I am new to Alexandria and have had to call multiple times for answers to basic questions and the team has always been helpful to me. Thank YOU!

Some parts could be more user friendly

In all Alexandria is a very good program. I think some parts can be more user friendly. Like being able to make the script larger. Giving reports and setting a more obvious names
