Alexandria review

Very easy cataloging system . Great support if you run into difficulties . I have not gotten to use it with the student yet as we are still in the process of completing it .. but so far so good πŸ‘

Works like it should!

Tech support is good and features of the software are decent. Would like more flexible report options (like a Crystal Reports type interface), but for the most part I am able to find what I need.

Painless conversion

Our migration from a consortium to a stand-alone instance of Alexandria was very well done. No downtime and only a minor issue with with receipt printers that was quickly addressed.

Alexandria has great technical support.

Alexandria is very user friendly and offers great technical support. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that some of the reports are a little hard to find.

Great System

I have been using Alexandria for 4 years. There is much you can do in the system from holding books for students, bringing up reports on late books by classroom, creating check out policies for different grades, and when there is an issue, contacting a service tech is easy and they will walk you through the steps to help fix the issue. The one downside, figuring out how to change policies or holding policies is somewhat difficult to find in the system. There is so much, it would be nice to ...

Review of Software

The software is not always user-friendly. Some tasks have to be done individually and it would be so much faster to be able to apply them to a group. My students would love interactive components like book reviews and easy access checkout history.
