Excellent technical support service!

This is my 7th year using Alexandria and it has been a smooth experience for our school. The occasional issue/glitch is generally solved very quickly with a call to technical support, who are extremely knowledgeable, patient and competent.

Great product with great service!

I have worked with Alexandria in two schools. I have nothing but good things to say about their circulation system (We don't use Textbook Tracker.) Any time I have any questions, the tech department is overwhelmingly helpful, professional, and knowledgeable about any topic. Alexandria library software is easy to use. It helps keep track of books and makes the check in and check out process simple.

Love Alexandria Library System!

I previously had no experience with an automated library system. I did work with a stamp pad and date when I was in school to help out my librarian. With Alexandria Library System you get so much more! I really enjoy customizing the system to work in my library. Alexandria Library Automation Software is user and tech friendly

Compared to other Library software I have used in the past Alexandria is much more user friendly. Their support staff the few times we have needed it are very helpful and knowledgeable.

Makes inventure a breeze

We use Alexandria not only to track library books but all of our tech devices. Makes everything easier to keep up with.

Alexandria Program in High School Libraries

I have used the Alexandria Program for at least 10 years now. I think it is an excellent program for a reasonable price. It has many features, so many, that I have to call Tech to remember how to use them all. I would recommend it to smaller schools that may have issues with monies available for Technology in Libraries. If there was one thing I would change, it would be that training for updates would be free.;) Or that it would be a webinar that people could access on their own time.

Mixed blessings

There are many kid-friendly and librarian-friendly features in the Alexandria product we use! However, there are, as elsewhere stated, too many distracting choices for my students, and too many repeated actions required of me in cataloging and circulation. My work environment prevents me from using the tech support, which is a bummer; at least the COMPanion online reference has been helpful to an extent.

Software helps school library to function.

For most checking out and inventory purposes, Alexandria Library Automation Software works great. I wish it were easier to change book information (such as call numbers) in large batches. I also wish the system Alexandria uses to search for book information when entering new books was inclusive of more publishers.

User friendly with amazing perks!

Alexandria made my transition from the classroom to the library amazingly smooth. They have great customer service and tech support that are always available to walk me through any issues. The software is very user friendly, my student workers use it with ease! There are various components that can be used for any aspect of the library. I wouldn't use anything else!
