"Upgraded from Captivate 5.5 to Subscription of Captivate 7"

What do you like best about Adobe Captivate? The main reason I requested an upgrade from Captivate 5.5 to 7 was to be able to publish content to HTML5. We are producing more and more eLearning for mobile and we need to be able to support our learner's tablets and smart phones. I also like the fact that 7 comes with several photographic characters to use in my training. I like these better than the illustrated characters. I think there is better transference of learning with the photographic ...

"Solid Communications Tool"

What do you like best about Adobe Captivate? It's a very intuitive program. It's especially easy to learn if you've ever used video or audio editing software. Captivate is also very flexible in that you can create from scratch or build off an existing PowerPoint deck. The demo capability is outstanding. What do you dislike about Adobe Captivate? It's robust program and it does require a lot of memory. It can cause crashes. Save early and often. Depending on your machine, you may want to ...

"Best option available but not much competition"

What do you like best about Adobe Captivate? I like what it can do and that I can use it on both Mac and PC. Other programs that I've looked at are PC only. If you put in the time (and have the patience) it can create very nice simulations. What do you dislike about Adobe Captivate? I'm surprised this is an Adobe product with how buggy it is. While in production it's not too bad but almost without fail, once published it will hardly ever be what you want. The buttons might not work ...

"Not nearly as well-developed as Adobe's other offerings"

What do you like best about Adobe Captivate? Captivate has a wide range of capabilities and allows for custom data collection. What do you dislike about Adobe Captivate? The program is buggy, and it was extremely difficult to make the presentations really beautiful. Recommendations to others considering Adobe Captivate: Look into competitors before purchasing. "Easy to use and lots of functionality"

What do you like best about Adobe Captivate? Integrates well with all Adobe products and very user friendly. What do you dislike about Adobe Captivate? As with other Adobe products not all features are intuitive and you need to look and relook to find exactly what you are trying to implement.
