What is Threat Detection?
What does 'Threat Detection' mean?
Incoming requests and traffic patterns are inspected for signs of attack, including SQL injection, cross-site scripting, path traversal, volumetric floods and behaviour that deviates from a normal baseline. Detections are typically scored and surfaced as alerts, and can be wired to automatic blocking rules so a suspicious source is stopped rather than merely logged.
