What is Physics Engine?
What does 'Physics Engine' mean?
Within a game engine, the physics engine is the component that simulates how objects behave in space: gravity, mass, friction, collisions, and the way bodies bounce, fall, or come to rest. Developers assign physical properties to objects rather than animating each movement by hand, and the engine calculates the resulting motion each frame. Most engines also handle rigid bodies, soft bodies, and ragdoll behaviour.
