What does 'Multimodal Input' mean?
The model accepts more than text in a single request: images, audio, video frames or documents alongside the prompt. Pricing is usually separate for each kind of input, and audio in particular is often an order of magnitude dearer per unit than text, so a multimodal workload needs to be costed on the rate for the modality it actually sends rather than the headline text rate.
