A catalogue of trained machine learning models and their versions, holding the artefact itself alongside metadata such as the training run, dataset, evaluation metrics and approval status. Teams promote a version through stages like staging and production from the registry, which gives a clear record of what is deployed and makes it straightforward to roll back to an earlier model.
