What does 'LLM Tracing' mean?
Capturing a detailed record of what happened during a language model call or chain of calls, including the prompt sent, the response, the tools invoked, latency, token counts and cost. Traces make otherwise opaque AI behaviour inspectable, so teams can find where a multi-step agent went wrong or why quality changed after a prompt edit. They also form the raw material for evaluation and regression testing.
