What does 'Life Event Management' mean?
Handling the benefit changes that follow a qualifying event in an employee's life, such as marriage, the birth or adoption of a child, divorce, or a spouse's loss of coverage. These events open a limited window in which the employee may change elections outside open enrolment. The system prompts for the change, collects supporting documents, applies the new coverage, and reports it to carriers and payroll.
