What is Cloud Snapshots?
What does 'Cloud Snapshots' mean?
Cloud snapshots capture point-in-time copies of a volume or file system and store them in the cloud rather than on local disk or tape. Because the copies live off-site, they double as an off-premises recovery point, letting an administrator restore data to an earlier state after corruption, deletion, or site loss.
