Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Zoom's core strength is screen sharing and participant management at scale—the platform handles 300+ participants without degradation, and screen sharing works across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android without additional software. Great for large, spread out groups
What do you like best? I use this service with my AmeriCorps Cohort and love the various features we can employ. I think the polling feature is the most helpful in our discussions, as it allows everyone to express their opinions without the lagging of multiple people speaking at once, as well as reducing any nerves that might come up from speaking in front of a large electronic group. What do you dislike? Sometimes the service lags, but that could be the result of poor connection. When ...

My favourite video conferencing tool
What do you like best? My favourite thing about zoom is it’s simplicity, right from creating my account with little to no tutorials I was able to set up a call with a fellow colleague What do you dislike? Not much! I suppose the camera quality isn’t always the best but that’s more down to the phone rather than zoom it’s self. I have rarely encountered the odd lagging but nothing major What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Zoom allows me to ...

Zoom conferencing application
What do you like best? Very lightweight, reliable, quick setup, works really well even in low network bandwidth, unlimited free 40 min meetings without spending any money. For paid users, option to record meetings on the cloud instead of system hard drive. End to end encryption, screen sharing, voice and video, in meeting one to one or group chat. What do you dislike? Sharing multiple applications without sharing the whole desktop is a pain. You can only share one application at a ...

Zoom makes my sales much easier
What do you like best? Its a quick and easy way to connect with customers. It allows folks to quickly download an app anywhere in the world and jump on a video. What do you dislike? Sometimes when you share your video, it slows down the speed of the connection. A lot of time we ask to turn video's off to get more bandwidth. Recommendations to others considering the product: Zoom is a great screen sharing tool. It does have some issues with bandwidth but overall better than any ...

Good product but lacking on the UI/UX
What do you like best? Zoom is a very nice product, the audio quality is always good, and it offers a great set of features for the most common and specific business needs. What do you dislike? The user interface and experience seems to be a bit behind, some of the controls are redundant and joining by phone requires a lot of digits every time, with other similar products the experience was simpler. Recommendations to others considering the product: Zoom is a good option, but I ...
