Spotsaas Editor’s POV

Zoom's core strength is screen sharing and participant management at scale—the platform handles 300+ participants without degradation, and screen sharing works across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android without additional software. However, verify in your demo that the specific meeting size you need (under 100 vs. 500+) aligns with your plan tier, as participant ...Read more

Zoom Video Conference

What do you like best? We have video call conferences with a client that offices out of San Francisco but travels across every market in the United States for his position. ON multiple occasions we have used the Zoom software to set up and complete video and audio calls. Every call has run seamlessly with the video and audio function both. What do you dislike? When we have accepted and used Zoom the process is seamless. The only issue we have found is when dialing into the audio ...

Great software with minimal setup required

What do you like best? I like how easy Zoom is to get set up. Most video conference software that requires a download is far to clunky. Zoom makes it easy, and always has since the beginning. What do you dislike? As I'm periodically cleaning up my computer, I notice that Zoom has old versions of the software still installed on my computer. If the software needs upgraded, I would prefer if it deleted the previous version as part of the update process. What problems are you solving with ...

Simple, no frills product that will get the job done

What do you like best? Zoom is a fairly simple program that allows conference calls with or without video. Most are able to use it without any training and personalizations can be made for defaults on things like whether or not video is always turned on, a notification when others sign onto the program, etc. What do you dislike? We have had some trouble over the years with zoom disconnecting mid call, which is frustrating Recommendations to others considering the product: For basic ...

Easy way to connect with people all over

What do you like best? I like that zoom is a super easy way to connect with people all over the world and gives me the flexibility to feel like I'm there in the meeting while working remotely and saving time. What do you dislike? Occasionally its a little glitchy and cuts out but that could be connection issues as well. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Being able to work from home but still be connected with everyone.

A robust web conferencing software capable of adapting to any company.

What do you like best? Zoom is a fairly complete and robust software that offers the option of web conferencing, group chat, file sharing, online meetings, among others, on the same platform. It is a tool totally adaptable to the needs of each of the companies or users that start using this platform. I like to use Zoom, because it allows me to access chat rooms without needing to be in a video conference or a simple meeting, unlike other similar platforms, which only allow chat rooms ...

Good tool for viceo cals, stiill need to improve

What do you like best? To have simple calls or video calls is a very user-friendly platform (point of view of the host, we the new update the appearance got a much better look and it is more intuitive. What do you dislike? Is very hard for the attendees to join the meetings as the default option is to download the software to join a meeting, but many companies/countries have restrictions for downloading. Zoom is a great meeting tool

What do you like best? Zoom is a great, instant, online meeting tool that allows you to meet anytime, anywhere. It allows me to collaborate with my remote coworkers seamlessly. I also like how I'm able to customize my personal meeting identification. What do you dislike? Sometimes the participant ID doesn't always work and I have to dial in again, but that is very minor. Recommendations to others considering the product: It's a solid tool for virtual meetings. I'd try it out. What ...

I use zoom for when a meeting gets cancelled but we’ve still got to “meet”

What do you like best? I love the ability to see all of the callers (I’ve only done a max or 6 people. I love the screen sharing option. I love the simple interface. What do you dislike? I dislike the call limits that pop up in the middle of my calls before I became a subscriber Recommendations to others considering the product: Zoom is a great way to get hard-to-reach people to come to meetings. Everyone can “come” to a meeting at an agreed upon time even if they are sick or have ...

Solid video conferencing

What do you like best? Ease of use and intuitive UI for administrators and users. What do you dislike? The meeting invites are not the most presentable. It would be nice if there was a simple and straight forward generic meeting invite. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We've had connectivity issues in the past. I don't experience it often but it does happen where audio/video transmits pretty poorly.
