Spotsaas Editor’s POV

Zoom's core strength is screen sharing and participant management at scale—the platform handles 300+ participants without degradation, and screen sharing works across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android without additional software. However, verify in your demo that the specific meeting size you need (under 100 vs. 500+) aligns with your plan tier, as participant ...Read more

Zoom apps have made our job a lot easier

What do you like best? Zoom apps have made our job a lot easier at present. Sitting at home in this corona epidemic, we have taken necessary meetings, chat with loved ones, and take various emergency services. What do you dislike? I haven't had any problems with Zoom Apps, but the video quality depends on the speed of the internet at the time of use, so what kind of service you get depends on the speed of your internet. Recommendations to others considering the product: I ...

Great tool for personal and business use

What do you like best? Ease of use and features. As a training professional, having the flexibility to host webinars or meetings depending on the class size is great. Lots of administrative controls and customizability. What do you dislike? Not much to dislike. The tool works extremely well, is stable and allows our organization to meet and train very effectively. There maybe a small learning curve but the overall tool is very intuitive. If I could change one thing, it would be the ...

Zoom Review

What do you like best? Zoom has a free account that many times this suffices and it is easy to use. What do you dislike? When Zoom updates, it moves the icon on my desktop. The mobile app isn't as easy to use as the Desktop version. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It helps me help my parents who live across the county to do their paperwork.

Great, even for a long conference

What do you like best? Zoom was a great help during quarantine, personally and professionally. Quality is great, sound is quite nice and the platform is really easy to take in hands. I love that you can create rooms, hide participants, disconnect sound or video. It's a very nice conference tool. What do you dislike? Nothing really... this tool is quite complete. Maybe the screen sharing could be ameliorated, would be nice to be able to highlight some elements, freeze the image for ...

Great video conferencing, it just works!

What do you like best? Zoom is very easy to use and the audio and video quality is always good. Zoom has lots of great features including reactions, screen sharing and the ability to breakout into different rooms. I have also found the video quality to be much better than other products and it seems to use less bandwith. It also works on mobile and tablet which is great for joining meetings when you are on the go. What do you dislike? Nothing, it is a really great product and I ...

Simple and Easy

What do you like best? It is simple and intuitive. I had many meetings with Zoom. I also attended a lot of online events. And I presented in an online conference using Zoom. I did not have any technical problem in any of these circumstances. What do you dislike? The only issue I had with Zoom was that in the beginning, I could not activate my camera. I had to google and change the security settings in Windows 10 to allow me to use my video in meetings. What problems are you ...

Effective Video/Audio Meeting Software

What do you like best? Expanded controls and settings for host to create conducive meeting (for example, muting all or unmuting all participants, limiting or expanding screen share abilities to participants, enable or disabling private chat, etc) What do you dislike? Black box during screen-share is currently under troubleshooting and assessment by Zoom. Infrequent issue but difficult to conduct a meeting with multiple shared items or presentations when it occurs. What problems ...

Work would not be the same without Zoom

What do you like best? Zoom keeps me and my coworkers active during the pandemic. As a designer, I love the ability to screenshare to show my coworkers what I have been working on. I also like the ability to use virtual backgrounds or a green screen to hide the clutter in my workspace area. What do you dislike? Zoom customer support is literally non-existant. I have opened a ticket 1 month ago and have not gotten a response. I got an automated response which linked me to their ...
