I've used YNAB for a year now and it is great! It helped shape the way I think about my spending and gives me a realistic view of my expenses. When it comes to my budget, I'm a bit of a control freak. YNAB gives me the ability to micromanage at whatever level I want for each category. Some are 'set and forget' whereas others I update on a weekly basis. It's empowering to know exactly where my money is and easily move it between categories. YNAB helps me make sure I have money for everything I need, especially bills. That in turn allows me to buy nice things without worrying, knowing I have the money.

A life changing APP if you give it enough attention
It's tough to start with, but once you get it! It is a fantastic tool! Before using this app, I used to live pay-check to pay-check, though I am well-paid. It is not the case anymore; I have savings and investments… I am happy with how much this app gives me insight into my financial goals, how to achieve them, and where my financial mistakes are.
