YNAB helps me plan ahead
YNAB has a bit of a learning curve, but there’s plenty of resources to help: they put out video content, and there’s a user community that’s quite active. The app suits me well because I like being very detailed about tracking my spending. The biggest benefit of using YNAB is that I now am able to look ahead at this month and next month and budget my money forward, rather than only look back and my spending like I used to with Mint.

Absolutely love YNAB
Absolutely love YNAB, such an in depth but simple system that helped me budget enough to pay off almost $25k in debt in a single year. I tell everyone who will listen about YNAB and never want to be without it. Gives me such a sense of security and achievement when I can see where and how all my dollars are working for me.

Best Budget App
It is the best Budget app. I have been able to stay out of debt while going to school and saving for a house and still afford things that I want. YNAB gives you strategies and advice to get the most out of your experience and is worth the price especially with the new family plan option.

It’s now fun to budget!
I’m amazed how much fun it is to manage my money now! I actually look forward to making sure every dollar we earn is used appropriately because YNAB makes that process a snap! It took a couple months for this 62 year old to learn how to use the technology but now it’s so worth the work I invested. It helped a lot that my daughter mastered it before me and coached me along in addition to the informative emails I got from YNAB.
